The Agora, or market place, was Athens' civic centre. It lay at the foot of the Acropolis. As it appeared about
AD 51,
it included stoas,
which had shops and meeting places;
the Odeion, a theatre; and government buildings
such as the
Bouleuterion, Metroön, and Tholos.
This being in line with the Ancient Greek Stoas, which had shops and Meeting Places.
All held at the Cambridge Conference Centre
